Ground Turkey Taco Bowl
Taco bowls are my favorite way to shake up our dinner routine! My family loves piling on their favorite toppings, and I enjoy how simple cleanup is.

Variations & Substitutions
Switch up your grains by swapping rice for quinoa or even farro for a fun twist. Try ground chicken or lean beef in place of turkey—each brings its own personality to the bowl.
For extra crunch, sprinkle crushed tortilla chips on top. Prefer a smoky flavor? Add a dash of chipotle powder to your turkey as it cooks.

Tips & Tricks for Perfect Results
Sauté the onions until they’re golden before adding turkey—this adds a subtle sweetness. Don’t skip simmering the turkey with seasoning and water; it helps the flavors meld beautifully.
For extra creaminess, mash half the avocado and swirl it into your bowl. Always finish with a squeeze of fresh lime—it brightens everything up!

Storage & Reheating
Store leftovers in airtight containers, keeping toppings like lettuce and avocado separate for freshness. The turkey mixture and rice will keep in the fridge for up to four days.
Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop until piping hot, then assemble your bowl with fresh toppings. If you want to freeze, just freeze the turkey mixture and rice—add toppings after reheating.
