Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup sugar or coconut sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • cup melted coconut oil or unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips plus extra for topping, if you like

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top if you’re feeling fancy.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the center is just set. Don’t overbake!
  • Let cool before slicing into squares. Enjoy!
