Variations & Substitutions

Try swapping out the feta for creamy goat cheese or even a sharp cheddar for a twist. If you’re out of cherry tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes add a lovely depth.

For extra crunch, toss in some chopped bell peppers. Sardines or canned salmon are tasty alternatives to tuna if you’re feeling like mixing up your protein.

Tips & Tricks for Perfect Results

For the freshest flavor, use tuna packed in olive oil—it adds a subtle richness. Always taste your salad before serving and adjust the lemon juice or salt as needed.

Chilling the salad for a few minutes before serving helps the flavors meld beautifully. And don’t skip the fresh herbs; parsley or even a touch of dill really lifts the whole dish.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. The salad is delicious cold, so no reheating needed!

If it seems a bit dry after sitting, just drizzle a little more olive oil and a squeeze of lemon before serving. Avoid freezing, as the fresh veggies can lose their texture.
